    WPB Newton listed in Germany, Poland and Belgium

    WPB Newton is a new winter wheat variety added on the National Lists/Beschreibende Sortenliste of Germany, Poland and Belgium. In Germany WPB Newton is listed as A Quality baking wheat with the highest yield, furthermore WPB Newton has a very nice loafvolume, high Zelenyvalues and high Hagberg falling number. WPB Newton has good agronomic characters like a good standing ability with an medium-early ripening. The resistance package against diseases is good with an outstanding resistance against yellow rust and mildew.
